LimmudLA is an all-volunteer organization. Every aspect of who we are and what we do depends on people like you stepping forward. Whether you have just one hour, or several hours every week, we have a place for you! See our volunteer page for descriptions and upcoming team meetings or contact our Volunteer Coordinator.

Family Programming

The Family Programming Team is responsible for overseeing the LimmudLA experience for newborns through 5th graders. Our program is divided into two groups:

1. Camp LimmudLA Kattan offers babysitting for children up to the age of 2. It is run by a professional baby-sitting company that is licensed by the State of California.
2. Camp LimmudLA offers programming throughout Conference for children ages 2 through 11 (5th grade) run by counselors vetted and hired by LimmudLA.

The Family Programming Team plans and oversees:

• Family-friendly Friday night Shabbat services
• Child-friendly food at all meals
• Hiring of counselors to run programs during Camp LimmudLA hours
• Family-friendly programming after Camp ends
• Assignment of parent volunteers for evening babysitting
